Bellanoch Church Wedding

Wedding of Russell & Heather on Sat 24th Sep 2011. Weather forecast was for rain & 97% cloud cover just in time for the Bride & Groom leaving the church! We were lucky and the sun stayed out all day.

This is only a sneaky look at some church pictures as the actual wedding pictures will have to remain a secret until Russell & Heather have viewed them, sorry.

Congratulations to - Roanna & Findlay Clark

A delightful spring wedding at the Loch Melfort hotel in Argyll. This was a fantastic wedding to photograph, so much going on and everyone relaxed. I never pose people or set up a picture so to be able to stand back and watch so many wonderful moments unfold in front of my lens was so much fun. I particularly enjoyed the lanterns, so many colours, smiling and movement.

Is it only the bride that gets to arrive in style?

Easter Egg Hunt - Daltote

There was a great turn out this year for the Daltote Easter Hunt, the weather behaved and fun was had by all. The 2 hour ride was filled with happy children and some exhausted adults who had the pleasure of walking. Everyone was motivated by the fact that there were a few stops for chocolate and juice.

I recently had the pleasue of photographing a wedding at the Loch Melfort Hotel, Argyll. It was a wonderful day and a lot of fun was had by all. There were so many things to photograph including horses, daffodils, magnificent West Coast view and of course the Bride & Groom.

Argyll has been experiencing some unfamiliar weather conditions, snow, ice and minus temperatures! Can anyone remember a winter such as this in this part of Argyll?

However, the clear days and nights have produced some beautiful light conditions.

Scottish Beaver Trial

The Beaver has returned to Scotland after an absence of over 400 years.

I have been to visit their habitat and as you can see from my pictures they have been very busy. All the signs are very encouraging and I intend to spend a lot more time studying and photographing our new neighbours.
